Due to the middle layer, the silent pipes have exceptionally good noise insulating properties which act to reduce the noise generated by transportation of fluid inside the pipe. The reduction in noise levels is more than 6 dB.

The vanes inside the pipe assist in reducing vortex hence directing the flow while giving better flow characteristics.
